Pattern Testing Changes

I have finally decided on a format for pattern testing.

Option One: I will post on the site, Instagram, and maybe Facebook group when I need pattern testers. You can sign up for that test only. Or become a regular pattern tester.

Option Two: Become a regular pattern tester. The requirements to become a person I always send tests to are on the bottom of the Patterns page under the links that direct you to each type of pattern. I may put this information on a different page For now I feel this is the best place for it.

Skill Levels: You will have to be able to try an experienced level pattern. I hardly have that skill level but I do on occasion. More information is in the requirements for regular pattern testers.

Any input you may have please let me know. I would love to discus it with you!

Basic Testing Requirements

  • You must be able to send pictures on at least the completed project if you a full tester.
  • You must know how to crochet & read patterns written in US Terms.
  • If you are just wanting to proof read then you must know how patterns are written by the standards of the Craft Yarn Council. 99.9% of my patterns are written using these standards or are based on these standards.
  • Have an email you check at least once a week. It will be the email I send vital updates to during testing, etc.
  • A Ravelry account. I need to see your skill level. I will also be sending you copies of the pattern via Ravelry after it is released as payment for testing. NOTE: You will only get the pattern if you complete the testing.
  • Make sure you tell me exactly where an error is otherwise I may not find it.
  • Know how to look up stitches if you do not know how to do them. The hardest stitches for both patterns are dc2tog & tr bobble.

If you are wanting to test either or both patterns email me at crochetjessicadesigns@gmail.com with your name, email address you want me to send the patterns to, your Ravelry user name, and which pattern you want to test.
