Book Description:

After returning home to Azeroth, Alleria Windrunner calls upon her estranged siblings—Sylvanas, the warchief of the Horde, and Vereesa, ranger-general of the Silver Covenant—to join her in a quest to retake their ancestral home, Windrunner Spire, from the undead who have overrun the place. On their journey, the three sisters will navigate both the dangers of the present and the ghosts of the past to discover if time and tragedy have divided them irrevocably—or if, despite everything, they are still a family.

My Review

I love Sylvanas. She is my utmost favorite character in any video game. I remember the first time I got the quest in WoW to take Sylvanas her necklace… it was sad. I also remember when I was somewhat upset Vareesa didn’t kill Garrosh Hellscream but I get why she didn’t. I always wondered about Alleria. I hoewever eneded up not liking Alleria at all. Especially after this read. I get why Sylvanas wants to raise her sisters but I think it will backfire on her somehow. This is a good read and it gives you a great overview of the past and makes you want to delve into the lore more. It is good they are finally focusing on the Windrunner Sister. The are wasn’t that great – but I suppose that is because we are used to seeing the sister in game & expect them to look like they do in game. This made the Sylvanas fangirl that lives inside me happy.
