NOTE ABOUT ROUND 2-6: The 2nd & 4th corners you work in each round will be different – they will have different stitch counts on either side of the ch2. The ch1 will count as a st. This is to make sure the stitch counts remain the same on all 4 sides of the square.

Round 8 & 9 make what I have learned is called a folded sc st. If you know how to do this then awesome! If not here is the basic run down of it: http://www.crystalsandcrochet.com/crochet/folding-single-crochet/ I had no idea what this was until a few months ago when my friend Grace was talking about it in our Discord channel. Since you might come across it I thought I would add it. It’s easy – just time consuming.

Round 8: Mark each middle sc of 3sc group with a st marker. You will not be working in these sts for this round. In 3rd sc of 3sc group – st after the st marker – work a standing tr in FLO, tr in FLO in the next 24 sts. Finish Off. Do this for each side. 100tr

Round 10: ch4, turn so the right side of the work is facing you once again, tr in same st as joining – 2nd sc of 2sc group of rnd 9 – * dc next 25 sts, 2tr next st, ch2, 2tr next st * 3 times, dc next 25 sts, 2tr next st, ch2. Join with a sl st to top of beg ch4. Finish Off. 100dc, 16tr, 4 ch2 sps
