Single Shell Scarf

What You Need:
6 oz of worsted weight yarn and a K crochet hook.

Special Stitches:

• ch3 – at the end of each row you are told to ch3 & turn. This counts as the first dc for the next row.
• shell stitch 2dc – ch1 – 2dc in same stitch
• rsc (reverse single crochet) Please go to crochetcabana.com for more information.

Pattern Notes:
Depending on the weather I crochet tighter or looser. You can achieve any size with changing yarns and hooks. You can repeat row 3 until desired length and then continue on with row 99 & on.

With your yarn & crochet hook ch 13.
row 1 dc in 3rd chain from hook. dc in the next 10 chains. ch3, turn. 11 dc
made
row 2 dc in next 2 stitches, sk 2 stitches, shell in next stitch. sk next 2 stitches, dc in last 3 stitches. ch3, turn. 3dc,1shell,3dc made.
row 3 dc in next 2 stitches. skip 2 dc, shell in next ch1 sp, sk 2 dc dc in last 3 stitches. ch3, turn. 3dc,1shell,3dc made.
row 4-98 repeat row 3 until row 98 or desired length.
row 99 dc in next 2 stitches. ch2 & skip next 2dc, sc in ch1 sp, ch2 & skip next 2dc, dc in last 3 dc. ch3 & turn. 3dc, 1 ch2sp, 1shell, 1 ch2sp, 3dc made.
row 100 dc in next 2 dc, [2dc in ch 2 sp], dc in sc. Repeat [ ] once. dc in next 3 dc.. 11dc made
DO NOT FINISH OFF!
EDGING (rows 101 & 102)
row 101 ch1, rsc in each stitch across. Finish off. Weave in ends. 11 rsc made
row 102 join yarn w/ ss to first chain (the beginning of the scarf). ch1, rsc in each stitch across. Finish off. Weave in ends. 11 rsc made
